Beverly Brown

Beverly Naomi Brown, 81, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Lakeview Church in Iowa Park, Texas with Pastor Daniel Robertson officiating. Pavilion services will follow at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Friday, November 26, 2021 at the funeral home.

Beverly was born on June 24, 1940 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Dee and Reba (Ireland) Gilmore. She graduated high school from Old High in Wichita Falls. Beverly was a member of Lakeview Church where she taught Sunday School, Children’s Church, and Vacation Bible School. She was an excellent cook who collected cookbooks from everywhere she traveled, and was an accomplished seamstress. Beverly was a very loving wife and mother who especially loved her grandchildren.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving relatives include her husband, Jerald Brown of Iowa Park; Patti Metzger and husband, David of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; Renaee Galliton of Iowa Park; Trish Holley of Burkburnett; and Jerri Mason and husband, Chris of North Bend, Washington; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Beverly is also survived by brothers, David Gilmore and wife, Pat; James Gilmore and wife, Sandra; and sister, Doris Thornhill and husband, Jess, all of Wichita Falls.

Memorials are suggested to the Senior Group at Lakeview Church of Iowa Park.
