Billy Don Stewart, 91, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 7, 2017 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Lakeview Church of God in Iowa Park with his three sons, Roy, Ron, and Lonnie Stewart officiating and Pastor Daniel Robertson assisting. Graveside services will follow at the Highland Cemetery Pavilion under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 in the chapel at the funeral home. Billy was born on December 8, 1925 to John Robert and Belle Marie (Harmon) Stewart. He married the love of his life, Colleen Armstrong on January 17, 1947 in Henrietta, Texas. Billy was a veteran of World War II, serving in the US Navy. He was a member of Lakeview Church of God and was very active in supporting his sons ministries. Billy worked for Medders Oil Company for many years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Billy is preceded in death by his parents; six siblings, Marie Stewart, John Robert Stewart, James Allen Stewart, Patsy Lee, Martha Ann Stewart, and Mary Frances Stewart; and one granddaughter, Tammy Renee Stewart. Surviving relatives include his wife, Colleen of Iowa Park; three sons, Rev. Roy Stewart and wife, Vicki of Birmingham, Alabama; Rev. Ronnie Stewart and wife, Coleen of Lakeland, Florida; and Rev. Lonnie Stewart and wife, Tracy of Naples, Florida; seven siblings, R.A. Stewart and wife, Helen of Iowa Park; Dorothy Stout of Wichita Falls; Betty Jo Parkhill of Grady, Oklahoma; Sue Coleman and husband, Boyd of Las Cruces, New Mexico; Judy Williams and husband, Felton of Iowa Park; Georgia Moore and husband, Gary of Iowa Park; and Mickey Lewis of Iowa Park; 13 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren. The family would like to say thank you to the staff and friends at Hospice of Wichita Falls for their love and care during this difficult time.

So very sorry to lose Uncle Billy! My prayers are with Aunt Cokie and the family......I know one thing for sure.....when we all make it to Heaven....all we will need to do is look for the crowd that is full of laughter and we will find the family...
