

Charles Bret Lowman, aged 64, passed away on September 30, 2025, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Born on July 5, 1961, in El Reno, Oklahoma, Bret grew into a man known for his deep Christian faith, hardworking nature, and compassionate spirit. He was a charismatic and determined individual, always energetic in his endeavors and a devoted family man.
Bret graduated from Greenfield High School in 1979 and excelled in many areas in his professional career as a farmer, parts manager, youth pastor, firefighter and EMT, territory salesman, sales manager, and ultimately as a director of sales for EWI outdoor power equipment. His professional journey was marked by a strong work ethic and a knack for leadership.
Bret’s faith played a significant role throughout his life, evidenced by the fruits of his life and the many areas of service in the churches he attended. His hobbies included mowing his lawn, fishing, watching college football-BOOMER SOONER, and playing card games like spades and solitaire. He cherished watching his grandchildren play basketball, spending quality time with his wife, vacationing with friends, riding his Harley, and unwinding with music to accomplish the state of “WOOSAH”.
Bret is survived by his beloved wife, Judi Lowman; his son, Jeremy and wife Mekyn; daughters, Jennifer and husband Joseph Stokes, and Amanda and husband Brice Rhodd. He was a proud grandfather to Jacob, Adam, Austin, Logan, Callen, Zoe, Paul, Jordan, and Isaiah. His life was enriched by numerous family members and a wide circle of friends. Bret was preceded in death by his grandparents, G.F. and Alma Posey, and his mother-in-law, Margret McGraw.
A service to celebrate Bret’s life will be held at Lakeview Church in Iowa Park, Texas, on Monday, October 6, 2025 at 2 PM. Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park, TX, is assisting the family during this time.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Bret’s memory to Hospice of Wichita Falls or Iowa Park Boys Varsity Basketball program. His legacy of love, dedication, and service will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege to know him.
