Charles Dennis Clark

Charles Dennis Clark, 70, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 19, 2016 in Lubbock, Texas, surrounded by his loving family. Services will be held at 2 PM on Monday, May 23, 2016 at the Highland Cemetery Pavilion with Pastor Glen Pearce, First Baptist Church of Iowa Park, officiating. Viewing will begin at 8:30 AM Monday and Visitation will be held from 12 PM until 1:30 PM on Monday at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park.

Dennis was born on February 21, 1946. Throughout his life he worked and traveled to many different places and held several jobs in the construction industry. He loved music and was a gifted musician, often singing, and playing the guitar. He graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1961 and attended the University of Texas and Midwestern State University.

He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Clark and two brothers; F.A. Clark and Dan Clark.

Surviving relatives include his daughters, Dawn Eaton of Ruidoso, N.M. and Lisa Clark of Austin; his mother, Hester Lewis Clark of Lubbock; two sisters, Linda Clark and Betty Clark Flournoy of Lubbock; three granddaughters; one grandson and one great-grandson.
