Brother Harwell was one very special man. He and his wife, Doris were always accessible during their time as our youth leaders, and we will always remember the good times we enjoyed with them. God bless and comfort the family who are left behind. We loved him and have many great memories. We will see him again!

My condolences to the family...Rex and Terrie Lynn, so sorry for your loss. I am sad that I wasn't able to be at the service. But I am sure it was a joyous celebration of his life -- his dedication to God, his family and his country. What a blessing it is to have the wonderful memories of a Godly man, and to know that as Christ lives, so shall we. I will always remember his smile as he would walk into the sanctuary at Fossil Creek Church when he would come down to be with you all in worship. Give Doris a hug for me. Peace and grace to you and your family. Marilyn Warren

I will miss my 'second dad' and the way he welcomed me into the family once he realized I wasn't corrupting Rex. :-) We had lots of enjoyable times back then and always a roast in the oven for Sunday lunch only to be topped with those mouth-watering world class pies by Grandma Vestal. Witnessing Charlie live out his faith in Jesus and his unwavering character forever left an impact on me and I will always be grateful for having shared in a piece of his journey. Love you Harwell family and trust God to bring you peace during this time and as you continue on your journey. -darrell
