

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at First Baptist Church in Iowa Park, with Rev. Glen Pearce officiating. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.
Harold was born in Okemah, Oklahoma on September 9, 1933 to Claude H. White, Sr. and Jerry Walkup White. He married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Sarah Rosene Dorman in Marlow, Oklahoma on February 22, 1955. They moved to Iowa Park, Texas in 1961. He was a pipefitter for the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union 389 for 45 years. He was also a mentor and teacher for the Plumber and Steamfitters Local Union 389 students.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Hope and Joy Sunday School Class. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Seminole, Texas and Iowa Park, Texas. He loved the Lord and his family with all his heart. He loved spending time with his grandkids and his great grandson. He was always caring and giving of himself to others. He loved old cars, hunting and fishing!
He was preceded in death by his parents, of Marlow, Oklahoma.
Harold is survived by his wife, Rosene of Iowa Park; daughter, Denise Henderson of Wichita Falls, Texas; daughter, Sarah Lyn White-Cantu of Corpus Christi, Texas; son, David White and wife Crystal of Iowa Park, Texas; six grandchildren; Neil Henderson, Haley Henderson, Aaron Cantu, Sarah Noelle Cantu, Hunter White, Fisher White; one great grandson, Parker Henderson; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
He was loved and respected by all who knew him and we will miss him always.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
Visitation will be at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, May 7, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m..
