Cody Paul Reid passed away on November 3, 2025, at the age of 39. Born on November 16, 1985 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Cody grew up in Kamay, Texas and attended Iowa Park High School. From a young age, he loved playing baseball and football and was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys. At just 16 years old, Cody began his career in the oil field, a path that would define much of his professional life.
Cody dedicated himself to his work with Deep Well Service, R2Q Operating Co., and most recently, CT Well Service in Holiday, Texas. His commitment to his career was matched only by his love for his family and the outdoors. Cody was born into an oil field family, and his passion for the industry was evident throughout his life.
In 2014, Cody met the love of his life, Kasandra. Together, they shared 11 wonderful years, building a family and creating cherished memories. Cody was a devoted father to his daughters, Ava Leigh, Brylie Faith, Abigail Faye, and Haisley Grace Reid. He also leaves behind his mother, Paula Reid, his brother, Dylan Reid, his sister, Tiffany Reid, his niece, McKenzie Moyer, father Michael Reid and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Cody was preceded in death by his grandparents, Omer Fulfer and Eula Faye, and his cousin and best friend, Jason Vanek.
Cody had a passion for cooking for his family, hunting, and fishing. He loved the outdoors and embraced every opportunity to spend time in nature.
A visitation service will be held at Dutton Funeral Home, located at 300 East Cash Street, Iowa Park, TX, on November 9, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The funeral service will take place at the same venue on November 10, 2025, at 10:00 am. Cody will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery, located at 826 Rogers Rd, Iowa Park, Texas.
Cody's legacy will live on through his family and the countless lives he touched with his kindness and adventurous spirit. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
