Coy was a hard-working jack-of-all trades. He loved to play his guitar, build a variety of things, and take care of his animals. More than anything, Coy fiercely loved his wife and family, and loved to take care of them.
Coy was born April 24, 1960 in Wichita Falls to Gene Lee and Sue Lee, both of Iowa Park. He graduated from Iowa Park High School in 1978. He worked in the oilfield for several years before working at Ameron where he eventually retired. Never able to sit still he also worked at the county, and for Highland Cemetery taking care of the grounds, which he loved. He was a devoted Husband, Pops, and Pepaw, and a friend to many.
Coy was preceded in death by his parents and half-brother Jamie. He is survived by his loving Wife, Donna, sister Susan Lee Tibbetts of Wichita Falls, Tracy Lee Robertson (Willie) of Iowa Park, Pam Franklin (Jim Lane), Teresa McCaffity (Allen), Bobbie Franklin, all of Wichita Falls; Children Dena Horne (Chuck) of Burkburnett, Brandon Lee (Kristin) of Adel, Iowa, Kristi (Rick Garcia) of Oklahoma, Brandi Lee-Brooks of Wichita Falls, and Daniel Franklin (Leah) of Iowa Park, 21 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren with 2 on the way, and numerous nieces and nephews.
