David Charles McMahon, 57, passed away on July 30, 2020 in Wichita Falls, TX. There will be a visitation held Monday, August 3, 2020 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park, TX. There will be a service on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at 11 AM at the Haws Road Community Church of Iowa Park, TX officiated by Pastor Robb Stephenson under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.
David was born on September 12, 1962 to Stanley and Emmalee McMahon of Iowa Park, TX. Shortly after gradating from Iowa Park High School in 1981, David started working at Cryovac/ Sealed Air in November of 1981 where he would go on to put in 38 years as an extrusion operator. David enjoyed his job as well as his co-workers. David had many hobbies in his spare time. He loved music in all forms, especially playing his guitar and singing, as well as helping coordinate music for the church. He also loved Nascar, whether it was going to watch a race or watching from home, building models of boats, ships, and anything you can think of. These were things that he enjoyed doing with his two grandsons. David loved his family and his dog, Chewy.
David was preceded in death by both of his parents, Stanley and Emmalee McMahon, his sons Kristofor and Corey McMahon.
He is survived by his wife, Wendy Lee McMahon of Iowa Park, TX; his daughter, Desiree Wilson, and two grandsons, Rylee and Dakota Wilson of Iowa Park, TX, as well as a multitude of family and friends who will all miss him dearly.
The family has requested that a donation to David's beloved church, Haws Road Community Church can be made in lieu of flowers, if preferred.
