Elizabeth Williams

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, at Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park, with David Robnett officiating. The family will receive visitors from 10-11 a.m. before the service. Graveside services will follow at Highland Cemetery Pavilion in Iowa Park.

Beth was born to Thomas L. Ward and Stella Tole Ward on November 14, 1931, in Lubbock. She was the seventh of nine children. She graduated from Chillicothe High School in Chillicothe, Texas. Beth met Norman L. Williams in Wichita Falls and married on November 25, 1950. They established their home in Iowa Park, raising their family while sharing 60 years together before his death in 2011. Three children were born to this union: Rhonda Gayle, Larry Dale, and Connie Ann.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, her eight siblings, and a grandson, Brian Allen Newton.

She is survived by her children: Rhonda Newton of Gatesville; Larry Williams and wife Judy of Rankin; Connie Wilson and husband Mike of Arlington. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Phletious Williams of Iowa Park and sister-in-law Joyce Ward of Norman, OK., along with seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
