Helen Rich

Memorial services will be held at 11 A.M., Friday, June 3, 2016, at the Dutton Funeral Home Chapel, with Dennis Neal officiating.

Helen was born February 27, 1936 in Archer City, Texas, to Clifford and Grace Roberts, and moved to Iowa Park when she was a year old. She grew up in Iowa Park, finishing high school in 1953. She met Gus at Sheppard Air Force Base and they married, ending a 60 year marriage when Gus passed away on December 30, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her son, Tim Rich, on October 6, 2015.

Helen loved her family and was very talented in art as a painter in oil. There is one of her paintings in the Iowa Park Clinic and one formerly hung in the old Tanner Building where the Friendly Door Center used to be.

Survivors include her children, Terrance Rich of Colorado and Teresa Ackerman of Wichita Falls; 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
