Jackie C. Ewing, 67, passed away on July 30, 2026. Born on September 16, 1958, in Vernon, Texas, Jackie was the daughter of Weldon and Hazel Ogerly. She attended school in Vernon and spent the majority of her life in Iowa Park, Texas, where she built a life defined by steady devotion, quiet courage, and deep love for those around her.
A hard-working woman who earned the respect of many, Jackie dedicated 21 years as a trainer at Certainteed before later serving with Iowa Park CISD. Through years of faithful work, she became someone others could count on—valued not only for what she did, but for the care and strength she brought to each day.
In March of 1984, Jackie met Ronnie Ewing, and they have been together ever since. Their time together was often spent in the simple joys they shared—camping trips, days at the lake, and the kind of companionship that grows richer through the years. Jackie loved the sun and the water and found happiness outdoors, and she also had her own favorite routine at home—her number one hobby was watching FOX News.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents; and her younger brother, Charles Ogerly. She leaves behind her loving husband, Ronnie; 2 daughters, Tiffany Childs and husband Mark, and Sara Christman; 2 grandchildren, Austin Hawk Childs and Emily Grace Rubio; 4 brother and sister-in-laws, Eddie and Donna Ewing, Tim and Cheryl Ewing, Debbie and Jerry Walsh, and Cyndi and Calvin Sampley; her dear sister, DeDe Tatom; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jackie was beloved and cherished, and her absence will be felt deeply by all who were fortunate to know and love her.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations please be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
