Jean Howell
February 1, 1932 – February 21, 2021
Jean Evelyn Howell, 89, of Wichita Falls, passed from this life Sunday, February 21, 2021, at United Regional Hospital.
Jean was born February 1, 1932 to Percy Zeno and Juber Aline Graves in Murphreesboro, Arkansas. She married Ernest B. Howell and they enjoyed 65 years together until his passing in 2013. Jean was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother and her sisters. She is survived by her brother, James C Graves, and her five children Pamla (William) Garfinkle, Daniel Howell, E. Richard Howell, John (Linda) Howell and Anthony (Karen) Howell, 19 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Jean and her husband, Ernest, were the owners of Howell Financial and Tax Service for over 30 years. They were the owners of Summer Snoball for 20 years until they were no longer able to effectively operate the business. Jean was retired from Sam’s Club after 23 years where she was a “demo lady” . Jean was a quiet lady who was never outspoken. She was a member of Life Church Wichita Falls for over 40 years. The great loves of her life were her Lord and her family.
Viewing will be Friday, February 26, at Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park from 6 to 8 PM. The funeral will be at Life Church, Saturday, February 27 at 10 AM. Burial will be Monday, March 1 at Crestview Cemetery.
