Jon Bollman Daniels

Jon Bollman Daniels, 74, of Holliday, Texas, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014, surrounded by family. Funeral services with full military honors will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clint Sissom, Cross Country Church of Holliday, Texas, officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Jon was born September 3, 1939 in Belvidere, Illinois to Harold and Ruth (Bollman) Daniels. He joined the Air Force in 1957 and served our country bravely as an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist and Senior Student Training Advisor for over 21 years, including time in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam Conflict. Jon married Deborah Garner on April 17, 1982 in Wichita Falls and lived in Holliday, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Kay Daniels of Holliday; daughter, Ranelle M. House of Lake Jackson, Texas; son, James R. Daniels of Holliday; daughter, Loretta L. Neilley of West Valley, Utah; son, Michael G. Daniels of Fort Worth, Texas; brother, James Daniels of Belvidere, Illinois; brother-in-law, Robert Thorton of Belvidere; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Memorials are suggested to the Veterans Affairs to assist those who have served our country and are in need.

Aunt Debbie and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I know that things are going to be hard, and I hope that you know I will listen if you ever need an ear. I'm sorry I won't be able to attend the funeral, but know that you guys are in my thoughts. I love you all.
