The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2012 at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glen Pearce officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.
June was born June 6, 1921 in Randlett, Oklahoma to Harry and Annie Simmons Griffin.
She and Louie McCarthy were married February 18, 1945 in Boise, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker, registered nurse, farmer and rancher.
She is survived by her husband, Louie McCarthy, of Iowa Park, Texas; daughter, Susan McCarthy of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren Deana Uhl, Robert Galloway, Jr and Kerry Harpole; great grandchildren, Dean Galloway, Promise Galloway, Kell Harpole and Lyla Harpole and several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials to Highland Cemetery Association of Iowa Park, Texas.
