Larry Leroy Goin

Larry is survived by his three children: daughters Kimberly Whelan (Michael) and Kelly Nealen (Mike), and son Jacob Goin; his mother, Euretha Goin; his brother, Barry Goin; his five cherished grandchildren, Hannah Brune, Harrison VanHoose, Kole Deveraux, Hunter Deveraux, and Landon Deveraux; and one great-grandson, Kohen Deveraux. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and countless loved ones who were blessed to know him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Terry Goin, and his brother, Danny Goin.

Larry worked for many years at Sheppard Air Force Base before later going on the road as a long-haul truck driver. He was a graduate of Iowa Park High School in 1977. Larry never met a stranger and was truly a friend to all, always willing to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed. He was loved by so many and had a heart of gold, a heart simply too big for this earth.

An avid outdoorsman, Larry loved fishing, bird hunting, loved horses, NASCAR racing, and football. Above all, his greatest accomplishment and proudest legacy was his three children. We will take it from here, Dad.

Larry is now resting with our Lord, free from pain and flying high.

Family and friends will be holding a private memorial and burial at a later date in Iowa Park, Texas.
