Loretta Drake

Loretta Drake passed away peacefully at her home in Holliday, Texas on October 1, 2018. Funeral services will be held on October 5, 2018 at 10 AM at Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park, Texas, with Chad Stubblefield officiating. Burial will follow at the Holliday Cemetery, in Holliday, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at the funeral home. Loretta was born in Cowden, Oklahoma in 1941. She moved to Texas with her family and graduated from Wichita Falls High School. She was a beautician for over 25 years and then operated her own pilot service until she retired in 2015. She married the love of her life, Jay Drake on February 7th 1981 and they made their home in Holliday, Texas. While she was on this earth for 76 years, she was "still only 29 3/4 in age". She loved her family and friends dearly and cherished her time spent with her 4 legged friends. Loretta was preceded in death by her mother and dad, her husband Jay, her sister in law Becky Swafford and her dear friend Lucy Brady. Surviving relatives include 4 sons and 1 daughter. Lloyd Pautsky of Wichita Falls, Jan Dyer and husband Scott of Holliday, Bobby Pautsky and wife Susan of Chillicothe, Jay Drake Jr. and wife Chris of Morrisville, NC and Jeff Drake and wife Kathy of Elgin, OK. Her loving brother, Donal Swafford of Greenwood, Tx. Five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends that she loved dearly. Donations may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls in her honor.

Aunt Loretta you will be missed more and you know. You have always been in my life and a big part of my life , Your kindness , Love and consideration for everyone. You will always be one special angel to me. I know Heaven got a very special angel when they got you. I know you are Rejoycing now. Will always love you . Deb
