Mack Harold Davis, 81 of Greenville, Texas went to be with the Lord on April 30, 2018. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 2 PM in the chapel at Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park, Texas. Graveside services will follow at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Friday, May 4, 2018 at the funeral home. Mack was born on January 28, 1937 to Luther Pat and Gladys Davis in Wichita Falls, Texas. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force from February 2, 1954 – February 1, 1958 as an Aircraft Control and Warning Operator. Mack retired from Tex-Pac after a successful 28-year career where he was a Long-Haul Supervisor. He was an avid fisherman and had an undying love for his family. Mack is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife Gail Davis; great granddaughter, Kailey Robb; son Tommy Joe Davis as well as several brothers and sisters. Surviving relatives include his 3 loving daughters, Kim Davis of Spring, Texas; Deborah Spino and husband, Jeffrey of Lone Oak, Texas; and Sandra Snider and husband, Danny of Arlington, Texas; a loving son, Tony Davis and his wife, Cyndi of Kaufman, Texas; and sister, Hannah Payne of Monticello, Kentucky; 10 grandchildren, Tricia and Craig Berry, Alicia and Justin Gore, Angelia Smallwood, Michael Calaway, Brittney Walker, Brett Walker, Sarah Sager, Casey Davis, Shelby Davis and Margaret Davis; and 7 great grandchildren, Ashton Lavhic, McKenzie Peterson, Alexis Lewis, Dustin, Amy, Ashlyn Berry and Easton Dutton.

We buried you today. I wish I could have had, your favorite song played, for you did wish for it to be played, upon your passing. But I will quietly dedicate it to you, and each time I hear it, I will think of you. I know your with Mom, and in the arms of an Angel. For now I have 2 gaurdian angels, watching over me. I will miss you daddy. You were the best father, a daughter could ever ask for. I know your at peace, and in the arms of almighty God. For heaven gained another angel........
Until we meet again, I will always think of you and mom, and will continue to hold you both, close to my heart. 💙

I wanted to offer my sincere condolences to the family and friends. Certainly Almighty God did not intend for us to experience the loss of our loved ones. In fact, please find comfort from his wonderful promise found at Isaiah 25:8.

Mack Davis was my Dad. He lived a happy and fulfilling life. He will dearly be missed by all. RIP in Heaven Daddy. Live you with all my heart.
