

Graveside services will be held at 10 AM., Friday, June 19, 2015, in Crestview Memorial Park. Service arrangements are under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park, Texas.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 P.M., Thursday, June 18, 2015, at Dutton Funeral Home.
Margaret was born February 27, 1940 in Southampton, England to parents, Fredrick John Morgan and Hilda Day Wells. Margaret was no stranger to hard work. At the age of six her father died and at that young age she started helping to raise her other brothers and sisters. Her mother remarried, and at a young age Margaret worked several jobs and then left home at 16 and worked in a crystal factory. At the age of 25 she moved to Beverly Hills, California. She married Alden Ray Peterson on September 7, 1974. She was a self-employed carrier for Times Record News for 35 years, continuously serving the Wichita Falls Tanglewood neighborhood since 1981, and retired in August, 2014 at the age of 74. She was the longest tenured newspaper carrier ever with TRN. She had also served as a Bluebird and Campfire Leader when her girls were young and had done nursing for 20 years. Her hobbies were sewing, knitting and working with ceramics showing her love for all colors.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Gwen Pike; and a brother Sidney Wells.
Survivors include her husband, Ray of Wichita Falls, Texas; 4 daughters, Julie Warbrick, of Barrow-in-Furness, ¬¬¬England; Gail Siegert Pettit of Fort Worth, Texas; Tina Brown of Palmyra, Tennessee; and Carolyn McFarlin of Wichita Falls, Texas; 3 brothers, Earnest John Morgan (Nobby), David Wells, Gordon Wells, and a sister, Eileen Bailey; 10 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
