February 16, 1970 - January 15, 2025
Mike Manry, 54, of Iowa Park departed this world and opened his eyes in Glory on January 15, 2025. A Celebration Of Life will be held February 1, 2025 at 2pm at Red River Cowboy Church, 121 N Ave E, Burkburnett, Tx.,76354, with Pastor Clay Kahler officiating.
Mike was born February 16, 1970 in Perryton, Tx to Linda and Ernie Manry. He graduated from Iowa Park High School in 1989. Mike loved to travel, and his passion in life was sharing the Gospel of Christ. He spent over 25 years behind the wheel of a semi truck, known by fellow truckers as "M-n-M", traveled across the country, and loved taking his kids on trips with him in the truck. He retired from trucking in 2019. In his retirement, he enjoyed playing games, listening to music, especially any song by Casting Crowns, caring for the animals around his house, and spending time with family.
Mike always had a funny story to tell, or he would make silly faces and tell one of his many jokes, just so he could see someone smile. He had a big heart, and loved to help others when he was able. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, compassion, and helping others, but most importantly, he wanted everyone to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Mike was preceded in death by his grandmother Marie McGarraugh, and his father Ernie Manry
Mike is survived by his mother, Linda Manry, brothers Jackie Manry and wife Carmen, Cory Manry and wife Stephanie, daughters Kilee Roe and husband Collin, Megan Lee and husband Kody, and Sammi Taylor and husband Cody. He is also survived by two granddaughters, Josephine and Bailey, several nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends that will miss him dearly. He would want you all to know that he loved you, but more importantly, Jesus loves you.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice.
John 14:6 - Jesus said to him, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
