

Paul (Ray) Mundt, 94, of Pleasant Valley, TX, went through Heaven's Doors on Tuesday, August 11, 2026. He was born on February 29, 1932, in Wichita Falls, TX. His main hobby was fishing, and he was good at it. He loved and cared for everyone. If you've ever been around him, and you didn't know him, he would know you before you left. He was a stranger to no one. He worked for Westex Seat Covers in Wichita Falls for 27 years, Wilson's for a couple of years, and Cryovac for 15 years, from which he retired. He was a member of Pleasant Valley Church and later became a member of Faith Baptist Church in Iowa Park, TX. He touched many hearts along the way, for he loved and cared for everyone.
Ray was preceded in death by his son Richard Mundt, his parents Arthur Ralph and Pearlie Mae Mundt, brothers Roy, David, and Donald Mundt, and sisters Bernice Watson, Marie Hughs and Carly Turnbow.
Survivors include his son, Mike Mundt; his daughter, Cheryl Cobb; 5 grandchildren, Brandon, Adam, and Chris Mundt, Caron Cobb, and Jason McMillion; and 2 great-grandchildren, Casey Mundt and Kylah Keck.
There will be a one-hour visitation on August 18th at Dutton's Funeral Home from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M., followed by a short service, and then on to Highland Cemetery for the burial.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of Wichita Falls.
