Peggy Jo Thompson

Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2011 at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glen Pearce officiating. Services are under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home of Iowa Park.

Peggy was born September 8, 1941 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Ray and Celia (Shook) Underwood. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Iowa Park. She worked as a bookkeeper for Koonce Oil Company for several years and later for Park Tank Truck Service.

She was a lifelong resident of Iowa Park, Texas.

Her parents and a brother, Richard, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sons, Troy Thompson and wife, Sondra of Iowa Park, Texas and Kevin Thompson and Victoria of Columbia, Missouri; grandchildren, Hayli Robertson and husband, Derrick of Iowa Park and Ray Thompson of Wichita Falls, Texas; a great grandson, Tye Robertson of Iowa Park; brother, J.C. Bridges and wife, Luci of Iowa Park, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and cousins.
