Regina Eloise Jarman, 84, of Iowa Park, Texas, passed away on May 13, 2026. She was born on October 28, 1941, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, to Laurence Dobson and Christine Louise Wilson Dobson, who preceded her in death.
Regina graduated from Saint Mary's Catholic School in Wichita Falls. She went on to work for several years as a bank auditor in Fort Worth, bringing steady dedication and care to her work. In later years, she also gave of her time in service to others as a member of the board of the VFW in Gold Bar, Washington—an extension of the generosity and kind-hearted spirit that so naturally marked her life.
Regina was married to Max Jarman for 46 years, and their devotion endured through a lifetime of shared days, separated only by his passing on December 28, 2025. She was deeply proud of her family, and that pride was returned to her in the love and gratitude of those who knew her best.
A talented pianist, Regina found joy in the beauty of music and the quiet satisfaction of making things by hand—she crocheted beautifully and was an avid reader. She loved playing Mahjong and was widely known as an amazing cook. She also showed Doberman and won several awards at dog shows, a pursuit that reflected both her commitment and her delight in doing things well.
Regina’s warmth was unmistakable, and her humor—so often shared at just the right moment—became part of the family’s fabric, carried forward in the laughter she inspired and the lightness she left behind. As many have said with affection, anyone who knew her would say, “she was a hoot.”
She is survived by her sons, Lee Eaton (Melissa) and Skyler Eaton (Donna); grandchildren, Jessica Campbell (John), Alex Eaton (Alaina), Samantha Cox (Neil), Victoria Wheat (Justin), Jarryd Eaton, James Eaton (Sara), Jake Lewis (Amanda), Garrett Jones (Katie); and along with 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Laurence Dobson; her mother, Christine Louise Dobson; her husband, Max Jarman; and her son, James T Eaton II.
Visitation will be held at Dutton Funeral Home, Chapel, 300 E Cash St, Iowa Park, Texas 76367, on May 18, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
