Ronda Christison

Ronda Darlyne Birch Christison was born March 23, 1931 in Salt Lake City,UT to Archie Birch and Darlyne Waters. She grew up in Salt Lake City attending Riverside Grade School, Jordan Junior High School, and graduated from West High School in 1949.

On February 4, 1950 she married Theodore Otis Christison. Together they built a legacy of three children, nine grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren with many others that loved her as “Grandma Ronda”.

Ronda passed away Saturday January 11, 2025 at the age of 93 in Electra, TX. She leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and devotion to family.

Ronda lived life to the fullest. She touched many lives through her years of volunteering as a crossing guard, school lunch program, and serving at the Senior Center. She had a passion for travel and loved to always be on the go.

Ronda leaves behind her children: Cindy, Brent (Ilene) Christison, daughter-in-law Tami Christison, eight grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Marilyn Fratto, son Ron Christison, granddaughter Rachel Christison, and great-grandson Tanner Stratton.

A visitation and graveside service will be held on Monday January 27, 2025 at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you hug your family, pet a dog, go for a walk, watch a sporting event, or have a Diet Coke in remembrance of Grandma Ronda.
