Sue Donna McKnight

Sue Donna (Darnell) McKnight, 79, passed away Friday, November 16, 2012 in Wichita Falls. Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM on Monday, November 19, 2012 in the chapel at Dutton Funeral Home with Dr. Jon Eckstein, pastor, First United Methodist Church of Iowa Park. Committal Services will follow at the Highland Cemetery Pavilion under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park.

Sue was born August 13, 1933 in Boswell, Oklahoma to Malvin and Jewell (Tucker) Darnell. She attended schools in Red Oak, Oklahoma and later worked in warehousing at CertainTeed. She also worked as a home health nurse, assisting those in their time of need and was a hostess at local restaurants

She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Denny McKnight; four brothers and three sisters.

Surviving relatives include her son, Michael McKnight of Iowa Park, Texas; daughter, Shaylene Delago of Wichita Falls, Texas; son, Jeffrey McKnight of Iowa Park; two grandsons, Shane McKnight of Phoenix, Arizona and Brian Hancock of Lotus, Virginia; two granddaughters, Kerri McKnight of Korea and Linsey Blake of Summerville, South Carolina; three great grandchildren; and two sisters, Corine Davis of Randlett, OK and Eloise Willis of Henrietta, Oklahoma.

Visitation will be held from 3 PM to 5 PM on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
