Sylvia Jewell Crum

A visitation will be held at 6 pm Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Dutton Funeral Home. A graveside service and Burial will be held at 11 am at Paoli, Oklahoma cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home of Iowa Park, Texas.

Jewell was born July 9, 1936 in Provence, Oklahoma to Ardath Daily Fair and Gussie Alberta Summers Fair. She and Howard Neil Crum were married August 26, 1973 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She worked for many years as a waitress. She lived her whole life in Texas and Oklahoma. She was a Baptist. In her spare time Jewell loved to work in her yard and was an avid reader, a hobby she shared with her late husband.

She is survived by children, Paula Cresswell and husband, Richard, Suzette Crum Hamilton and husband, Robert, Neil Edwin Crum, James Randell Crum and Howard Dean Crum and wife, Katherine; grandchildren, Nancy Rakestraw and husband, Devin, Terri Rust and husband Kyle, Melissa Cresswell, Jade Bustos and husband, Pablo, Jeremy Crum, Cody Crum, Little Jamie Crum, Jesse Randell Crum, Lauren Crum, Raya Crum, Kelsey Pridemore and husband Tyler, Rachael Metcalf, Conner Crum, Ashlyn Crum, Amie Kendrick and Melissa Crum; Great grandchildren, Ryan Rakestraw, Joshua Rakestraw, Tyler McKinney, Kaden Rust, and a Great great grandson Rowan Rakestraw. And her beloved fur baby Mickey Crum.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers George Eddie Fair and James William Fair. One Sister Maxine Martin, and one great grandson Zachary Rakestraw.
