Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Friday, September 17, 2010 at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ted Spear officiating. Services are under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home, Iowa Park, Texas.
Terry was born December 26, 1979 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Larry and Joanna Lightsey Matthews. He attended schools in Iowa Park and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. He served his country in the US Navy from January 1998 until November 2003.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Hertlein of Gurnee, Illinois; daughter, Alexandria Matthews of Gurnee, Illinois; parents, Larry and Joanna Matthews of Iowa Park; grandmother, Billie Matthews of Iowa Park; sisters, Christy Potter of Iowa Park, and Melissa Hill of Wichita Falls; nieces and nephew, Allysa, Bethany and Nathan; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
A college scholarship fund has been set up at First Bank, Iowa Park, Texas for Terry’s daughter, Alexandria Matthews.
