Tommy was born in West, Texas on January 8, 1939 to Louis and Clara Entrop Jares. He moved to Iowa Park from West, Texas in 1958. He later married Patricia Ann Reu in 1960 in Wichita Falls, Texas after meeting at the grocery store. Together they had 2 sons, Johnny and James.
Tommy is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Jares; his son Johnny Jares; his son James Jares; his grandson Kyle Jares and his sister Estelle Aycock (John).
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents and sister Ellouise (Louise) Snokhouse.
A visitation for Tommy will be held Friday, March 29, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Dutton Funeral Home, 300 E Cash, Iowa Park, TX 76367. A graveside service will occur Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Highland Cemetery, 862 Rogers Rd, Iowa Park, TX 76367.
