William O. "Bill" Chandler

A Memorial Service will be 3 p.m. Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jeff Watson, Associate Pastor of First Assembly of God Church, Snyder, Texas, officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 1, at the funeral home.

Bill was born February 23, 1933 in Bristol, TN to William Orlando and Mary Lucile Musselwhite Chandler. He and Norma Yoder were married June 10, 1968. He attended Memphis State College from 1952 until 1954. Bill served in the US Army from 1954 through 1956 in the Korean Conflict. He was a coast to coast Regional Manager for Kmart Stores from 1960 until 1972. He moved to Iowa Park in 1975. He was owner of the House of Nuts at Sikes Center Mall from 1976 until 1991 and Kings Kids Child Care Center in Iowa Park from 1980 until 1996.

His parents preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Norma of Iowa Park, and 3 children, Charles Chandler, William Chandler, Jr. and Terri Caffey; grandchildren, Maxwell Chandler, Aimee Brantley, Rikki Case, Nikki Caffey, London Chandler and Campbell Chandler; and great grandchildren, Hunter Case, Hunter Chandler, Kynlee Gaona and Hadliegh Brantley.

The family requests memorials to Hospice of Wichita Falls, Texas.
