Willie was a member of Lakeview Church of God in Iowa Park, Texas. She was a devoted Christian and enjoyed being involved in her church. She had many outstanding qualities, but as many know, one of her best was being a friend, mother, and grandmother to everyone she knew. She was quick to take people under her wing. She was the most giving and forgiving person anyone has ever met. She loved unconditionally and didn’t have an unkind word to say about anyone. Aside from her devotion to her family and friends, Willie had many hobbies. She was an excellent seamstress and she loved to sew clothes and blankets for her loved ones. She had the gift of singing, and she shared God’s Word through song whether it be at church or singing to her grandbabies. Cooking was one of her specialties; her family loved her home cooking especially her famous fried potatoes, which she lovingly prepared five nights a week for her husband Jack.
She was preceded in death by her parents Otis and Winnie Liggett, her husband Jack Blagg, her sons Jackie and Marcus, and her sister Pat Fuller. She is survived by her sister Barbara Robinson of Wichita Falls, son and daughter-in-law Eddie and Vicki Blagg of Iowa Park, daughter Carol Reed of Nashville, son Ronny Blagg of Wichita Falls, grandchildren Marc and Sidnee Blagg of Iowa Park, Tyler and Amanda Eaton of Iowa Park, Robert and Rachel West of Nashville, Gracie Reed of Nashville, Derrick and Evelyn Forrester of Wichita Falls, Seana Perkins of Ames, Iowa, and former daughter-in-law Christi Brown of Wichita Falls, and three great-grandchildren: Jackson, Max, and Lia.
