Ada Harrison Bowers

Ada was a graduate of Kershaw High School, then Winthrop University. She was employed with the Bank of Lancaster, and later retired from Colonial Life Insurance. After retirement, Ada was an Account Assistant at Harrelson, Kellett and Lockhart Accountants in Columbia. She enjoyed painting and cross-stitching. Ada was a member of Earlewood Baptist Church, where she was the church organist, bell choir director, and for the last ten years, the church administrator.

Surviving are her loving husband, James Kevin Bowers; sister-in-law, Caron B. Cannon (Rev. Barry W. Cannon), Easley, S.C.; and a special cousin who was like a sister, Harriet McDonald and her husband, Charles of Greenwood, S.C.

She was predeceased by her brother, Aubrey Keith Harrison (Edna Williams Harrison).

The family wishes to thank all the church members and neighbors who were truly like family members.
