CHAPIN - Alec Jefferson Hadwin, 59, passed Friday, January 6, 2023. Born in Spartanburg, SC, a graduate of Chapin High School, and later University of South Carolina. Jeff was a local business owner with his company, Clean Castle LLC.
A memorial service will be held 11:00am Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Dunbar Funeral Home Dutch Fork Chapel, 7600 Woodrow Street, Irmo, SC 29063. The family will receive family and friends from 10:00am-11:00am prior to the service.
Surviving are his wife, Dr. Monica Jeanne Hacker-Hadwin; sons, Jefferson Thorne Hadwin (Randall), Saint Hadwin; daughters, Megan Elizabeth Groves (Brian), Gisele Hacker; father, Thomas “Tommy” C. Hadwin; mother, Susan “Susie” Watkins; sisters, Paula Elizabeth Alexander, Catherine Hadwin Ross (Gary); grandchildren, Layla and Lilly Groves, Brighton, Collins, and Emerson Hadwin; in-laws, Dr. Felix Barker, Dr. Pierrette Barker and Dr. Carl Hacker; sister-in-law, Adrienne Barker; and many nieces and nephews.
