Barbara Reynolds Prosser

Memorial service for Barbara Joan Reynolds Prosser, 89, will be conducted at 3 p.m., Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Reformation Lutheran Church, 1118 Union Street, Columbia, Rev. Timothy Bupp presiding. The family will receive friends at 2 p.m., prior to the service at the church. Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo is assisting the family.

Mrs. Prosser passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022. Born in Columbia, SC, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Margaret Reynolds. She was predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Julian “Hank” Prosser.

Mrs. Prosser was a member of Reformation Lutheran Church. She loved gardening, country music (especially singer Gene Watson), reading, cooking, traveling, jigsaw puzzles, collecting owls and enjoying the company of friends and family. Family was her greatest joy, especially her children, grands and great grands.

Surviving are her children, Barbara Prosser, Peggy Winfrey, David Prosser; grandchildren, Jennifer Ekovich (Nick), Karen (Lovette) Pfeiffer (Mike), Matt Prosser; great-grandchildren, Ardyn Lovette, Aubrey Lovette, Ashton Pfeiffer, Tanner Ekovich, Skylar Ekovich, Bryleigh Prosser.
