She dedicated her life to caring for others, earning her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification from Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College. Nursing was more than a career—it was a calling, and Carla’s compassion touched countless lives throughout her years in healthcare.

In 2001, Carla met the love of her life, Scott Albright. Their relationship quickly blossomed, and they were united in marriage on June 29, 2002. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and unconditional love.
Above all else, Carla cherished her family. She found her greatest happiness in spending time with those she loved and creating treasured memories on family vacations, especially along the shores of Garden City Beach. Whether gathered around the dinner table, celebrating holidays, or simply enjoying a quiet day by the ocean, Carla treasured every moment with her loved ones.
Carla also demonstrated remarkable strength and perseverance throughout her recovery journey in recent years. Her family extends their heartfelt gratitude to her many friends from Narcotics Anonymous, whose unwavering encouragement, friendship, and support meant so much to Carla and to those who loved her.
