LEXINGTON - A funeral service for Carol S. Vaughn, 83, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, with burial in Bush River Memorial Gardens. Rev. Dr. Albert Allen Jr. will officiate.
Mrs. Vaughn died Saturday, December 19, 2020. Born in Atlanta, Ga., she was a daughter of John W. Stone and Mary Treadaway Stone. She loved flowers, gardening, and her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Edgar A. Vaughn, Jr. of Lexington, SC; son, Greggory T. Vaughn of Gilbert, SC; daughters, Cynthia Vaughn Orr (Warren) of Columbia, SC and Catherine S. Faulkenberry (Marc) of Newberry, SC; and five grandchildren, Drake T. Vaughn, Mary J. Vaughn, Stone M. Vaughn, Rachel S. Jennings (David), and Rebecca Faulkenberry.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Lynette Stewart.
