Carolyn Young King

CHAPIN - A funeral service for Carolyn Young King, 82, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 23, 2017, at Lebanon United Methodist Church, with burial in the churchyard. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel. Mrs. King died Friday, February, 17, 2017. Born in Hopkins, she was a daughter of the late Samuel R. Young and Elizabeth Coward Young. She was a graduate of Lower Richland High School and a member of Lebanon United Methodist Church. Mrs. King was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. Surviving are daughters, Susan Lee of Aiken, Anna Marie Hulst (Tim) of Lexington; son, Frank King (Dori) of Chapin; grandchildren, Amanda Drake, Shannon Drake, Amber Lee, Matthew Hulst (Jenny), Kaitlyn Hulst, Robert King, Savannah King, Jordan Adams; great-grandchildren, Landon, Liam, Kohen, Hulst; and brother, Claytor Young of Hopkins. She was predeceased by her husband, Denny L. King; brothers, R.H. Young, David T. Young, Rembert Young, and sister, Mildred Young Shepherd.
