After completing high school in 1984 Chuck joined the US Navy and served on the USS Moosbrugger. He attended Propulsion Engineering School, Electricity and Electronics, Gas Turbine A, B, and C Schools. In 1992 Chuck left the Navy and honed his skills from the Navy to make a large impact in the Industrial Boiler Field as a civilian. In 1996 Fred Melson convinced Chuck to join him at C&C Boiler Sales & Service Inc as a Service Technician. He developed deep relationships with everyone within the company and it grew to be an extension of his family. In 2004 he became the Technical Services Leader, in 2008 he was promoted to Service Manager of South Carolina, and in 2019 he was promoted to Vice President of Operations for South Carolina. Chuck was heavily involved in the planning and execution of all boiler installations and controls contracts in South Carolina. His legacy and compassion for others will live on through everyone he interacted with. He was a fan of all things Mopar and loved tinkering to better understand how things worked. Chuck always found the best in every situation and every person he met.
