Christiana Hoess Parent passed away June 29th at the age of 84. She brought joy to the lives of the people around her with her by giving generously of her time in supporting and comforting other people during their time of need. She was active in the Mended Hearts Association and participated in an online group to support grieving families.
Born in Bonn, Germany, she attended school to obtain a business degree in Industrial, Property and Life Insurance. She eventually became the personal secretary to the regional director of Gothaer Feuer Versicherungsbank in Bonn 1959-1963. She later relocated to the U. S. and was employed with the Huntsville, Alabama branch of the German Military Representative in the USA and Canada from January 1 to June 30, 1968. Following this she decided to stay home with her 1 year old daughter.
She is survived by her daughter, Stefanie Parent DuBose and her 2 grandchildren, Ashby Lee DuBose and Lauryn Elizabeth DuBose.
