Christopher "Chris" Benjamin Ratliff

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo, South Carolina.

Chris was born February 20, 1994 in Austell, GA. He enjoyed spending time with his family, whether that was cooking at his parents’ house or having game night with his sisters. Chris never met a stranger and would immediately consider everyone his friend. The life of the party, Chris loved hosting gatherings for family and friends. As with everything he put his mind to, Chris excelled as a chef, creating his own recipes while working at local restaurants and even garnering fame with his homemade cheesecakes. An avid Batman lover, Chris embodied the qualities of a superhero with his immense kindness, passion, and drive to help those in need.

Chris is survived by his parents, Alex Benjamin Ratliff and Lisa Trammell Ratliff of Chapin, South Carolina; two sisters, Margaret Ratliff (Zach Elkins) of Columbia, Lexi Ratliff-Abate (Steven) of Chapin, South Carolina; his grandmother, LaQuita Ratliff; and his loving furry companions, his dog, Charlie and cat, Dexter.
