Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday December 9, 2021 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel. At the request of the family, please feel free to dress casual.
Cynthia was born January 31, 1955 in Frankfurt, Germany to James and Etta Scott Murray. She was an employee of K-Mart for 20 years and alongside her husband owned and operated Farm Boys BBQ in Chapin until the end of 2015, when her health started to decline.
In addition to her mother, she is predeceased by her brother, Cline Murray. Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Wells Gibson; father, James Murray; a step-daughter, Wendy Gibson; two sisters, Donna Pullium (Victor), Janet Crosby (Steve); a brother, Robert Murray (Lisa); several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Cynthia’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or to the charity of one’s choice.
