Me and Cynthia were friends in 6th grade, moving up to 7th, not very close so to say but I once stayed at her home for the night. she was very kind and patient, and since we hadn't kept in contact over the summer it wasn't until I got to school first day of eigth grade, expecting to be in the same chorus class as her, when I found out I'd never see her again. To all her family, both me and my family hope to prove that even though we are in highschool now, we all remember her dearly and hold her close after all these years. I apologize greatly for everyones loss of our dear friend, sister, daughter, and however you saw her otherwise. She was one of the best people I knew and if I can get the school to agree I would like to create a small area in the highschool in her honor, as proof she will forever come with us in our hearts, souls, and minds. Thank you all for taking care of her and shaping her into who she was.

Even though I never really knew Cynthia I knew her close friends like Harrison and McKenzie and I was always told she was the sweetest person when she passed I found out at football practice at first I thought they were lying but then my mom told me when I got home one of my classmates died the School should have done something for her I don’t know why they did not

I didn't know Cynthia that well, but i still loved her so much. The first time I met her was at a birthday party that turned into a sleepover. That night we tried on dresses and she looked beautiful in every single one. Her smile was always so contagious. I regret not spending more time with her, but nobody can change the past. I go to lake Murray a lot to talk to her. Everything I say her name when I'm there the waves change and its so beautiful. I miss her all of the time, not a day goes by that I don't think about her.

I randomly remembered one night before a performance where she gave me a hug. That was the past time she hugged me.

(I'm using my Nana's phone ) I never new she died two days before my birthday when I heard she died it hit my heart like a ton of bricks I knew her not only from class or school but from church in the past at Northside North West she was a dear friend of mine and I'll miss her so much it's so so hard to say good bye but she will live on forever in my heart and always will ......goodbye Cynthia....

Cynthia was my friend and she went to Drama Club with me. Back stage she’d always be making jokes and running around. She and Harrison used to chase each other around back stage and she’d come and hide behind me. She was so energetic and sweet. I wish I could have known sooner. Goodbye Cynthia.

I remember me and Cynthia used to tell each other “I’d die for you” to show affection. It was something that I cherished a lot. I wish I could trade our places now, because everything written about her in the obituary is true. As soon as we met, it felt like we’d known each other for years. I wish so many blessings to her family and will miss her dearly.

Cynthia was an amazing performer and an even better friend. I don’t think i can name anyone who disliked her. I remember some days just seeing her would put me in a better mood, she was just an overall awesome person. I wish I could’ve spent more time with her, or at least said goodbye. I’ll miss hanging out with her backstage before a performance or the way she’d randomly pat my head when she passed me in the hallways during school. But i hope she’s in a better place now. ♥️

Me and Cynthia shared a few classes together,  and throughout the entire 7th grade year she was always kind to everybody. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a bad thing said about her , although I didn’t know her personally and we weren’t close , her kind soul will be missed and WKMS will not be the same without her .

Cynthia was such a good friend and truly a beautiful soul.  I miss her so much and it hurts to realize I won’t ever get the chance to say goodbye. I love you Cynthia. 🤍 🕊️

Cynthia was one of my best friends. We always would hangout in chorus and in the mornings she would be there so, I wouldn't have to wait by myself.  She was so kind, fun to be around, and will truly be missed. Eighth grade chorus won't be the same without her.

while i never knew her personally, cynthia always seemed to have a kind soul. she never let anyone tear her down. i loved how motivated she was to the things she did. she’ll be missed by a lot of people, including the white knoll community. rest in peace to this sweet girl, as she’s now in a better place. 🕊️🤍

Dear Cynthia, the first time we met you were a little shy to talk to me, but you did it, you said ‘Hi’ and that was the start of an amazing friendship. We started talking and even got out of the friend zone. But all I want to say is I will miss you, but I know god has a plan for all and this is the end of his great plan for you, you have met great friends and been an amazing friend. Thank you Cynthia. 

To the family, I wish I could be there but please know how much I cared for Cynthia and how amazing she was, when I was sad she helped me and when I was happy she was happy with me, thank you for making the decisions for her to be able to meet me, thank you.

She was a great friend and my bus ride home and to school with her made my day. I loved her so much she was my school daughter since the first day of her 6th grade year, I couldn’t wait to see how she would grow. Finding out about her death broke me but love and prayers for her family I know y’all must really miss her. I know that you all don’t know me, but my name is Lillian, and I went to school with her at White Knoll Middle, and attended school plays, and Chorus performances with her. I didn’t know her very well, but I always remembered thinking how pretty she was, and how much of a full hearted, loving person she was. I send my wishes that her family and friends will find light during the dark times this tragedy brings. With deepest condolences, Lillian.

I didnt personally know her that much but I had a few good run-ins with her, she was really nice and I was shocked to learn she passed. I hope her family is doing well and shes resting well in heaven.

My favorite memorie with Cynthia would have to be when we were in art class she made a bracelet for me I was so grateful for it when I hear what happened I was so upset, now I will always remember her when I look at the bracelet.

Cynthia was one of those students that was not only smart and creative, but she was extremely talented. Our theatre productions at WKMS were better because she was in them. She was a dream to direct and teach. What truly stands out about Cynthia is she was a student that I so enjoyed hanging out with during those “down minutes” or breaks during rehearsal. I loved getting to know her as a person. She was kind, empathetic, thoughtful, sometimes snarky (in a good way), a great ensemble member, and an all around amazing person. I’ll definitely miss her!

I've always considered Cynthia one of my closest friends, she was always there for me and always talked to me. She always had my best interests in mind and was so sweet. She was one of the most caring people I've ever known. I will always keep her in my heart and her family in my prayers. ❤️

My heart goes out to all of Cynthia's friends, and family. Cynthia was a great friend of mine. She was thoughtful, kind, and always helped me when I needed it. Some of my best memories were spent with Cynthia. She was a wonderful person. I loved her so very much. May she rest in peace.

Such a brilliant, wonderful young lady. I have enjoyed getting to know Cynthia this year and talking about her interest. She was a true gem here at WKMS.

I am so sorry for your loss. I cant even imagine what you all are going through but I do know that there is a God who is watching down over you. I pray for your comfort and strength. Heaven has gained another angel.

Our hearts and prayers go out to the Worthington Family!  We are heartbroken.  We loved having Cynthia as a student at White Knoll Middle School.  She was so amazing and very sweet.  She will be greatly missed.
