Dolly lived a life centered on family, love, and caring for others. She was known for her warmth, kindness, strength, and resilience. Her gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her, and her love for her family remained constant throughout her life.
In her final months, Dolly faced her health challenges with grace and courage. Surrounded by the love of family, she continued to demonstrate the strength and determinatio n that defined her life.
Dolly is survived by her beloved husband, Glenn, and by the family she cherished so deeply. She leaves behind her daughters, Sherry May, Terri Lynn, Perri Sue, Carrie Jo, Beri Marie, and Jeri Denise, along with their spouses, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and dear friends.
She is also lovingly remembered by Glenn's children: his two sons, Jerry and Byron, and his two daughters, Sherry and Mendy, who became an important part of her extended family. Dolly embraced the relationships and connections that brought people together, and she treasured the family circle she and Glenn built throughout their years together.
Life with Dolly was always an adventure. There was never a dull moment when she was around, and everyone who knew her has a favorite Dolly story, usually one filled with laughter, surprises, and a little mischief.
Dolly lived life authentically and never worried about being anything other than herself. Her conversations were often sprinkled generously with her favorite four-letter word, delivered with such charm and sincerity that it became one of the many things people loved about her. To know Dolly was to laugh with her, and her unique way of expressing herself will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
Dolly loved knitting and crocheting, creating beautiful handmade gifts for those she loved. Though many of her creations remain with the people she made them for, each one carries a piece of her warmth and love.
Dolly loved a good game, whether it was a competitive round of Scrabble or card games at the kitchen table. She was always ready for the next word, the next hand, and the next laugh.
Though our hearts are broken by her loss, we find comfort in knowing that her suffering has ended and that the love she gave will remain with us always.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
"Those we love don't go away; they walk beside us every day."
