COLUMBIA - A memorial service for Donald Wayne Frick, Sr., 68, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Frick died Wednesday, January 29, 2025. Born in Columbia, SC, he was a son of Claude Frick and Judy Dowd Frick. He attended Chapin High School and was the owner of Frick Painting. Wayne enjoyed painting, fishing, and dirt track races. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Janie Faye Frick; his children, Donald Wayne Frick, Jr., Priscella Carol Frick, and Brandon Todd Frick; grandchildren, Noah Todd Frick, Vada Elaine Strevens (Ben), and Skylar Faye Rowe; great-grandchildren, Evangeline Strevens and John Strevens; sister, Claudia Frick Cloutier; brother, David Lee Frick; and many nieces and nephews.
