Donna Kay Cavender Coleman Moore "Dinky" daughter of the late Mary Kathleen "Kitty" Cavender and Kenneth Arnold Cavender was born November 16th, 1948. She attended grade school in Ravenswood, West Virginia and graduated from Ravenswood High School in 1966 holding the title of Miss Red Devil and captain of the cheer team. She faithfully served her life as a mother to her only daughter Kimberly Kay Coleman Neville. Her granddaughters MaryKathryn Kay "Katie" Neville, McKenzie Kay Neville and great-grandson Coleman Wade Martin were the light of her life as were her nephews, Brian, Derek; and niece Courtney Cavender. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Clifford Arnold “Corky” and Keith Elton “Pude” Cavender.
Donna peacefully made her departure from this life with the comfort of her daughter in Columbia, South Carolina, where she has called home for 25 years. Donna enjoyed her time on the beautiful Lake Murray and spending time with her beloved family and friends. As a result of her most beautiful and lively spirt, she was loved by many. Her influence and wisdom she left with us will forever remain in our lives.
A memorial service will be conducted at one o’clock on Monday, April 2nd, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
