With a heavy heart we announce the passing of Gail Kleinhanzl, age 85 of Chapin, South Carolina, on April 25, 2026. She was born on December 19,1940 in Spencer, Tennessee. She shared 69 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Fred. She is also survived by four children, Stephen, Cynthia, Thomas and Sandra. Her family, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild were the love of her life. Gail was preceded in death by her parents, her sister and her brother.
Gail found great joy in her community and friendships. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening. She was an active member of her local book club, residents club, mahjong club and wine club. She also proudly served as high priestess of Kadesh Court #19 (L.O.S.N.A.) Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America.
A celebration of life for Gail’s life will be held at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, located at 7600 Woodrow Street, Irmo, South Carolina on Friday May 1st at 2:00 pm.
