Mrs. Helen Eargle Richardson

Funeral service for Helen Eargle Richardson, 94, will be conducted at three o’clock Monday, February 6, 2017 at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, Rev. John P. Trump will officiate. Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. in the church parlor. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo, is assisting the family. Mrs. Richardson passed away Friday, February 3, 2017. Born in Blythewood she was a daughter of the late Oscar L. Eargle, Sr. and Reva Oswald Eargle. She was the wife of the late Harold V. Richardson. Mrs. Richardson was a member of St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church. She retired from Food Service Supply following many years of service. She is survived by her son, Thomas H. Richardson (Jane); grandchildren, Ellen, Emily and Andrew Richardson; brother, George Patrick Eargle; sister, Doris E. Oldham; special nephew, Dale Oldham; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Sandra Richardson Koon, brothers, Oscar Eargle, Jr., Keith Eargle, Robert Eargle and sister, Lucille Eargle Weeks.
