The family of Jackie Lee Cook, 80, will receive friends Monday, October 29, 2018, from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo. Mr. Cook passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018. Born in Halls, TN, he was the only child of the late William Lestil “Jack” Cook and Buena Smith Cook. He was the husband of June Conerly Cook. Mr. Cook was a member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church and the Koinonia Sunday School Class. He retired from Oak Ridge National Lab in 2000. He was a classic car enthusiast and an avid gardener. Surviving in addition to his wife of 58 years, June, are his daughter, Jeanne C. Yenco (John); son, John L. Cook (Pamela); and five grandchildren. It breaks my heart to hear about this loss. What an amazing man Jack was! I never saw him when he wasn’t smiling. I know God has welcomed him home, but he will be greatly missed here on earth.

Dear John, Pam, Justin and Taylor,
