John Paul Barbian Sr.

CHAPIN Funeral service for John Paul Barbian, Sr., will be held 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2014, at New Life Community Church, 10809 Broad River Road. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 5, 2014, from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel. Born on August 9, 1960 in Milwaukee, he was a son of Bernice Pawlowski Barbian and the late Thomas Norbert Barbian, Sr. John was a devoted father and grandfather, he also enjoyed water skiing, boating, hunting, woodworking and serving at his church. He retired from Deluxe Corporation after thirty two years of service. Surviving are his loving wife of thirty three years, Cyndy; sons, John Paul Barbian, Jr. (Stefi) of Charlotte, Thomas E. Barbian (Lauren), Brenton Barbian (Marta) all of Columbia; daughter, Janessa Jarrin Barbian; mother, Bernice H. Barbian; brother, Thomas N. Barbian, Jr. (Corrine) all of Chapin; his true blessings of grandchildren, John Paul “Jack” Barbian, III, Andrew Barbian; and all of the Heron family. John was predeceased by his son, Jacob Allen Barbian and his father.
