Mr. John as we referred to him will truly be missed, his smile and conversation was always a delight when I visited the GW store. He always joked with me and called me miss Ellie with X-ray eyes because I spotted mdse. before he could put it out. Now he's with the Lord and there are eyes on him because he was a wonderful and kind man. May his family have peace knowing that his time here on earth was served well. God Bless You All✝

I worked with John for the last 10 years. He was a great example to others at Goodwill as he was always friendly, professional, and helpful. I remember helping in the donation center a few years ago and having nearly every donor ask "Where's Mr. John?" It was clear that many of them were donating so they could visit a little with him. All of us at Goodwill are going to miss him a lot. He was one of a kind.

Joy, u had a great man for your father. He love people and he treated everyone the same. Mr. John was our candy man here at Goodwill. And he love his cokes .We had a conversation one day and he told me he was ready to home to be with the Lord. And I said , Mr.John you can't go before your time. I also told Mr.John he needed a girl friend and he respond "nobody won't me. Mr.John your day has finally come, the day you was waiting for. Missing you!

My heart is heavy right now...just couldn't hold back the tears. Everytime I visited Goodwill, I made it my duty to converse with such a great man. I am going to miss Mr. John. He made the world a better place to live. He would always tell me to call him John but I refused too; I called him Mr. John.

May God bless the family of Mr. John...

I only knew Mr. Weeks from being a regular customer at Goodwill. I am somewhat agoraphobic and go there to get out but at first I tried not to make eye contact (looking down) or speak to anyone. Mr. Weeks always had a smile and would speak to me and soon I started to look up and speak to him and later other people. His kindness truly helped me and he will be in my heart always. ❤
