Johnny was born March 18, 1951 to military parents Frances W. Zeigler and Kenneth E. Zeigler, 82nd Airbourne out of Fort Bragg, Fayetteville, NC. He is survived by his only sister, Deborah “Debbie” Frances Coleman (Bruce).
Johnny graduated from Fayetteville High School and worked for Winn-Dixie as a meat cutter. Being military, his family moved numerous times to NC, to Germany, to Fort Lee, Va, then last to Fort Jackson, Columbia, SC. Johnny worked with Heater Utilities dealing with water. He also loved working in the yard and did chemical spraying for a couple of years. Johnny went on to work for the County of Newberry Water and Sewage Authority, working with some great people, until he retired.
Most of all, he had a love for animals. He is also survived by his black lab, Rose, who he rescued and brought home from work one morning.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Paysinger, Dr. Deadman, Dr. Brown, Dr. Dominick, Kyle Johns, Brent Richardson, Brigmas, and Bruce Coleman.
